ECTA member companies are welcome to share the learning and send suggestions, questions or information on their experience with SQAS and assessments to the ECTA secretariat at
ecta@epca.be . As the representative body for the Chemical Transport Industry, ECTA participates and contributes through representation by specialists from its member’s companies and the input of its member companies, to the continuous improvement and evolution of SQAS (Safety Quality Assessment Scheme).
ECTA takes pride in the progress made by the chemical transport sector towards continuous improvement in safety management and follows the SQAS results available in the database in order to fulfill its commitments as partner association serving the responsible care goals of the chemical industry.
Not only chemical companies can review the SQAS reports, but also transport and logistics operators can access the SQAS database in order to select tank cleaning stations or the subcontractors in transport or in warehousing which fulfill their criteria.
